  • Yes. A consultation is mandatory for all new Micro-loc or Sisterlock clients to test your hair's locking pattern and provide an accurate price quote.

  • Book an appointment through the site. A $10 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your slot.

  • This is up to the client. You can wash your hair beforehand, or add the service during your appointment.

  • Palm Rolling uses a locking gel to smooth the loc into a round shape. Interlocking uses a crochet to retighten the hair at the root (best for active lifestyles and micro-locs).

  • For Palm Rolling, every 4–6 weeks. For Interlocking, every 9–12 weeks. Over-maintaining can lead to thinning, so we prioritize your hair's health over frequency.

  • No! You will see a lot of "shed hair," but this is just hair that has been trapped in the loc for years. With our professional removal, we preserve as much of your living length as possible.

  • Avoid heavy waxes, creams, and "edge controls" that contain petroleum, as these are the leading causes of buildup in locs.
